“Det stora kriget” (The Great War) is an international documentary drama series which is dedicated to fiction, documentaries, and animations relating to the First World War. The series is directed by Jan Peter and written by Jan Peter and Yury Winterberg. 

The multimedia project ”Det stora kriget” offers a new and unusual perspective on the history of the First World War. 

Well-known historian Oliver Janz, Peter Englund and Emmanuel Saint Fuscien were amonst the consultants who assisted in overseeing the historical accuracy and context of the series.
