Managing Editors
The managing editors hold a core function for the long-term operation phase of 1914-1918-online. They support the continued growth and relevance of the encyclopedia in its long-term operation phase. In order to keep the encyclopedia up-to-date, they can suggest the incorporation of new research into already published articles and propose new articles in emerging fields. Furthermore, they manage the two-step review process. Each managing editor is assigned a number of sections and specific articles in accordance with their expertise.
